The Katpot Systems Peel Unwinding Force Tester – Model KPUF-100 (A) is designed to measure the steady unwind force required to pull adhesive tapes, label rolls and PSA materials from the roll under controlled conditions.
It simulates the real behaviour of tape rolls during slitting, rewinding, laminating, labelling, and manual application.
With a sturdy mechanical drive, precision load cell and digital force indication, the machine helps manufacturers detect issues such as blocking, jerks, excessive tack, inconsistent coating, or uneven winding tension.
This tester aligns with FINAT-based unwind force practices commonly used in the adhesive tape and label manufacturing industry and is ideal for QC labs, coating lines and incoming material inspection.
